According to a few sources, Brian Cimins is taking a leave of absence to focus more on his family. Grapplers Quest has not commented yet on this news and we are waiting for them to confirm it.

CEO, Brian Cimins, is taking a leave of absence from Grapplers Quest and has cancelled all of the upcoming events for 2013.  After 15 years of running the most prestigious grappling event for amateur grapplers, Mr. Cimins stated that he wants to focus on putting his family first.

Professor Cris, who has been an Executive Director for Grapplers Quest for the past 7 years, is supportive of Mr. Cimin’s leave of absence.  Although this will be a huge loss to our sport, sometimes you have to take a step back, reevaluate your life and put what is most important first; and that is always family.

We wish Brian Cimins the absolute best. Thank you for everything you have done and everything you continute to do for our sport.
